India is Growing Data Centers
Google will invest at slightly over $1 billion in a
1.8 million square foot data center in a special economic zone in AndhraPradesh,
according to reports from top IP and IT pros in Asia).
While many USA IT companies
have located many faceted call centers in India, the brand new and powerful Google center will be an Internet data center....NOT
a call center.
The growth comes as technology trade mags and blogs are starting to look more closely on Google’s
Internet global infrastructure spending following updated capital spending in the company’s recent earnings reports.

The reason Google is doing this
is that Google believes every dollar spent provides it with a power advantage over its rivals. Google top level people are
clear on this point, and the company is focused on lowering data center costs by designing its OWN SERVER hardware and power
supplies, along with custom operating system and server software.
(Sources say that Google’s expansion isn’t
a call center, but a data center. The facility is supposed to act as a main hub for Google access, including GMail, search
results, cached data, that will make access to the services much faster and more reliable for web browsing people in south

from the horse's mouth...there it is...they will and are building huge data centers in India...remember that there's 1.2 BILLION
PEOPLE in India...and they (most of 'em) are right now going through the Cloud based Internet ecosphere.....)
Many will ask the intelligent question: how much electricity
does it take to power a 1.8 million square foot data center filled with Google server clusters? No one really knows know...except
the utility power employees...but remember...in the USA many Google data centers are by huge dams...where the water nearby
helps greatly reduce the electricity bill...the Pros at Google have known this for over 10 years now too.....
